Born in Providence, RI and raised in Bedford Village, NY- a suburb of New York City. Graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature and Creative Writing and Colby-Sawyer College, in New London, NH with an Associates degree in Liberal Arts and was the recipient of the Departmental Award of Excellence in English and Creative Writing.
